At the Democrats of Copperas Cove, we believe that politics starts in our own backyard. While national headlines change daily, our focus remains firmly fixed on the issues that impact daily life right here in Copperas Cove, Kempner, and across Coryell County.

We aren't here to chase partisan talking points. We are here to advocate for pragmatic, grounded solutions that protect our local quality of life.

What We Stand For Locally

• Public Education & Support for Educators: Our public schools are the anchor of our community. We proudly support Copperas Cove ISD (CCISD), our local teachers, staff, and students—from early literacy initiatives and award-winning arts programs to expanded career and technical education. Strong public schools mean a stronger Central Texas.

• Veterans & Military Families: Living right next to Fort Cavazos means our community is shaped by the service and sacrifice of active-duty personnel, veterans, and military families. We advocate for local policies that protect military-connected families, ease transitions, expand healthcare access, and ensure veterans have the support and economic security they earned.

• Smart Growth & Infrastructure: As Copperas Cove and Coryell County grow, local development must be balanced with fiscal responsibility and infrastructure support. We monitor city development, local tax rates, and infrastructure investments to ensure growth benefits everyday residents—not just special interests.

• Government Transparency & Accountability: Public servants should answer directly to the public. We track local decision-making at City Hall, the county courthouse, and the school board to demand fiscal responsibility, open meetings, and responsive, honest local leadership.
